Description
The ADA8282 is a 4-channel radar receive path AFE featuring low noise amplifiers (LNAs) and programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs). It offers a minimum -3 dB bandwidth of 5 MHz, a typical -3 dB bandwidth of 42.3 MHz, and a typical slew rate of 28 V/us. The device has differential input and output, and a gain range of 18 dB to 36 dB in 6 dB steps. It also provides selectable low noise and low power modes, with input referred noise ranging from 4.5 nV/√Hz to 3.4 nV/√Hz depending on the power mode. The ADA8282 has channel-to-channel gain matching of ±0.25 dB and absolute gain error of ±0.5 dB. It is SPI programmable and has a power-down mode. The device provides a 3.1 Vp-p differential output swing when using a 3.3 V supply and is packaged in a 32-lead, 5 mm x 5 mm LFCSP. It is specified from -40°C to 125°C and qualified for automotive applications.
