AD8564AR Overview
Contact plating refers to the material used to coat the surface of a component, in this case, it is lead and tin. This plating is important as it helps to prevent corrosion and improve the electrical conductivity of the component. The surface mount feature of this component indicates that it is designed to be mounted directly onto a circuit board. The reflow temperature-max (s) value of 30 indicates the maximum temperature that the component can be exposed to during the soldering process. The operating supply current of 10.5mA is the amount of current needed for the component to function properly. This component also has a negative supply voltage-nom (Vsup) of -5V and a voltage gain of 69.54dB. It operates on a dual supply voltage of 5V and has a negative supply voltage-max (Vsup) of -7V. The current - quiescent (max) value is 14mA 14mA 7mA, which is the maximum amount of current the component can draw while in standby mode. Finally, the voltage - input offset (max) is 7mV at 5V, indicating the maximum amount of difference between the input voltage and the actual voltage at the input of the component. All of these specifications make this component suitable for various electronic applications.

Comparator Quad 16-Pin SOIC N Tube
Comparator, 4 Func, 10000uV Offset-Max, 8ns Response Time, PDSO16
IC COMPARATOR 4 GEN PUR 16SOIC
Analog Comparators Quad 7ns SGL Supply
French Electronic Distributor since 1988
The AD8564 is a quad 7 ns comparator with separate input and output supplies, thus enabling the input stage to be operated from ±5 V dual supplies or a 5 V single supply while maintaining a CMOS-/TTL-compatible output. Fast 7 ns propagation delay makes the AD8564 a good choice for timing circuits and line receivers. Independent analog and digital supplies provide excellent protection from supply pin interaction. The AD8564 is pin compatible with the MAX901 and has lower supply currents. All four comparators have similar propagation delays. The propagation delay for rising and falling signals is similar, and tracks over temperature and voltage. These characteristics make the AD8564 a good choice for high speed timing and data communications circuits. For a similar single comparator with latch function, refer to the AD8561 data sheet. The AD8564 is specified over the industrial temperature range (−40°C to 125°C). The quad AD8564 is available in the 16-lead TSSOP, 16-lead narrow body SOIC, and 16-lead plastic DIP packages. Applications High speed timing Line receivers Data communications High speed V-to-F converters Battery operated instrumentation High speed sampling systems Window comparators PCMCIA cards Upgrade for MAX901 designs
