Description
The 8440081-01 is an 8-output LVDS synthesizer designed for generating reference clock frequencies for Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) applications. It utilizes a 25MHz parallel resonant crystal and can generate frequencies of 125MHz or 156.25MHz based on the F_SEL pin setting. The synthesizer employs IDT's 3rd generation low phase noise VCO technology, achieving typical RMS phase jitter of less than 1ps, meeting the stringent jitter requirements of GbE and 10GbE systems. The 8440081-01 is available in 32-pin TQFP and 32-pin VFQFN packages and operates in a full 3.3V supply mode over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
