Generates highfrequency clock output and reference from lower frequency crystal or clock input
Uses PhaseLocked Loop (PLL) techniques
Replaces crystal oscillators in most electronic systems
Six different multiplication factors for common frequencies
Intended for clock generation with low output jitter
