Description
24FC256-I/ST Overview
In 2010, a new memory chip was published with the JESD-609 Code of e3 and an ECCN Code of EAR99. This chip had a Memory Size of 256Kb, divided into 32K x 8 sections. The Nominal Supply Current for this chip was 3mA, making it energy efficient. What made this chip stand out was its Memory Format - EEPROM, which allowed for non-volatile data storage. The Write Cycle Time for this chip was 5ms for both Word and Page, ensuring fast and efficient data transfer. This chip also had a Serial Bus Type of I2C, making it compatible with a wide range of devices. Additionally, it had a HARDWARE Write Protection feature and an I2C Control Byte of 1010DDDR for secure data storage.
