ACS720KLATR-35AB-T developed by Allegro MicroSystems is a type of Hall-effect-based current sensor IC with high accuracy. Its multiple programmable fault levels make it well-suited for industrial and consumer applications with a focus on motor control and power inverter stage applications. It is able to deliver high isolation with a reduced bill of materials based on the proprietary IC SOIC16W package. It is capable of maintaining high accuracy in noisy environments because its high PSRR rejects the noise often found on the supplies in the power section of the PCB or system. Short-circuit and overcurrent fault detection are allowed based on fast and slow fault output.
