Description
The ZXCT1008 is a high-side current sense monitor that eliminates the need to disrupt the ground plane when sensing a load current. It translates a high-side voltage developed across a current shunt resistor into a proportional output current, which can be scaled into a ground-referenced voltage using a user-defined output resistor. The wide input voltage range (2.5V to 20V) and ability to withstand high voltage transients and reverse polarity connection make it suitable for automotive and other transient-rich environments.
