Overview

Description
The X9420 is a single digitally controlled potentiometer (XDCP) integrated on a CMOS microcircuit. It features a series array of 63 resistive elements with tap points connected to the wiper terminal through switches. The wiper position is controlled via the SPI bus interface. The XDCP has a volatile Wiper Counter Register (WCR) and 4 nonvolatile Data Registers (DRO:DR3) for direct read/write/transfer of wiper positions. Power-up recalls the contents of DRO to the WCR.
