Description
The UBA2072 is a low voltage IC designed to drive Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFLs) for back-lighting applications. It contains level-shifters, bootstrap diodes, and drivers for external full-bridge power switches. Additionally, it has a built-in HF oscillator, phase shift controller for constant lamp current, and PWM generator for brightness level adjustment. The UBA2072 operates over a wide low voltage inverter supply range (9 V to 30 V DC) and can be supplied directly from the inverter supply.
