Description
The TS3A226E is an audio headset switch that automatically detects 3 or 4pole 3.5mm accessories. For 4pole accessories with a microphone, it also detects the microphone location and routes the microphone and ground signals automatically. The ground signal is routed through lowimpedance ground FETs (60mΩ typical), minimizing impact on audio crosstalk performance. The autonomous detection feature allows users to plug in accessories with different audio pole configurations into mobile devices without requiring software control or complexity. The ground FETs are designed to allow FM signal passthrough, enabling the use of the headset's ground line as an FM antenna in mobile audio applications.
