Description
The TPS65167 is a compact power supply solution for LCD panels in large-size monitors and TV applications. It generates the three voltage rails (Vs, VGL, and VGH) required for TFT LCD bias, as well as two logic voltage rails through a step-down converter and LDO controller. The device features a high-voltage switch controlled by the external timing controller (TCON) for gate voltage shaping of VGH. It also includes a high-voltage stress test mode where the output voltage of VGH is set to 30 V and the output voltage of Vs is programmable to a higher value.
