Description
The TPS61230A device is a high-efficiency, fully integrated, synchronous boost converter. It incorporates a 6-A, 21-mΩ and 18-mΩ power switch. When powered from a 2.5-V input supply, the device is capable of delivering an output current of up to 2.4 A at a 5-V output. With its low RDS(on) switches, the device achieves power conversion efficiency as high as 96%, minimizing thermal stress in a compact package size.
