There is a switching regulator that is compatible with the Surface Mount mounting. Voltage regulators should be operated at -40°C~125°C TJ temperature while operating. A DC-DC switching regulator of this type operates at a switching frequency of 500kHz. This voltage regulator is able to operate with the minimal input voltage of 5.5V.
