Description
The TLC2932A is a highperformance phaselocked loop (PLL) device consisting of a voltagecontrolled oscillator (VCO) and a phase frequency detector (PFD). The VCO's oscillation frequency is set by an external bias resistor (RBIAS) and features a 1/2 frequency divider at the output stage. The PFD is a highspeed, edgetriggered type with an internal charge pump that detects phase differences between reference and signal frequency inputs. Both the VCO and PFD have inhibit functions for powerdown mode.
