TC7660SEPA Overview
As a result of the use of the Tube package, the performance of this voltage regulator is optimized. This harley voltage regulator has 8 terminations. The type of analog IC that this voltage regulator is equipped with is SWITCHED CAPACITOR REGULATOR. For space-saving purposes, this voltage regulator is available in the 8-DIP (0.300, 7.62mm) package. The voltage regulator 12v has 1 outputs. Fixed outputs are generated on the output pins of this adjusting voltage regulator. The voltage regulator 12v fits the Through Hole mounting hole. The operating temperature should be kept at -40°C~85°C TA when the voltage regulator 12v is in operation. DC-DC switching regulators reach 10kHz~45kHz switching frequencies. The output voltage (Min/Fixed) of this voltage regulator 12v is -Vin 2Vin. For operation, switching regulator requires a nominal input voltage of 5V. The TC7660S is a pin-compatible upgrade to the Indus-try standard TC7660 charge pump voltage converter. It converts a 1.5V to 12V input to a corresponding -1.5V to-12V output using only two low-cost capacitors, eliminating inductors and their associated cost, size and EMI. Added features include an extended supply range to 12V, and a frequency boost pin for higher operating frequency, allowing the use of smaller external capacitors. The on-board oscillator operates at a nominal frequency of 10kHz. Frequency is increased to 45kHz when pin 1 is connected to V . Operation below 10kHz (for lower supply current applications) is possible by connecting an external capacitor from OSC to ground (with pin 1 open). The TC7660S is available in both 8-pin DIP and 8-pin small outline (SOIC) packages in commercial and extended temperature ranges.
