Description
The TAS5028A is an eightchannel digital pulse width modulator (PWM) that offers advanced performance and high system integration. It seamlessly interfaces with audio digital signal processors, automatically adjusting control configurations based on clock and data rate changes and idle conditions. This provides an easytouse control interface with relaxed timing requirements.

Eight channels of Hbridge power stage drive capability
Compatible with Texas Instruments Hbridge parts TAS5111, TAS5112, or TAS5182 FETS
Supports singleended or bridge tied load configurations
Highperformance differential output for external differential input analog headphone amplifier
AD modulation operating at 384kHz switching rate for 48, 96, and 192kHz data
8x oversampling and 5th order noise shaper for broad flat noise floor and excellent dynamic range
Clock slave only device with master clock rate acceptance of 128, 192, 256, 384, 512, and 768 Fs
Accepts 64Fs bit clock
