Description
The SY100EP140L is a highspeed, 2GHz phasefrequency detector designed for controlling ultralow noise VCXOs (voltagecontrolled crystal oscillators) in telecom and datacom systems. It compares two input signals, a reference input and a feedback input, and generates UP or DOWN pulse streams based on any mismatches in their phase or frequency. These pulse streams can be integrated to control a VCO or act as an error voltage for a precision VCXO.

Lowvoltage operation: 3.3V ±10%
Wide operating temperature range: 40°C to 85°C
Fully differential throughput architecture
Transfer gain: 1.0mV/degree at 1.4GHz, 1.2mV/degree at 1.0GHz
Available in 8Pin SOIC package
