Description
The PCA8546 is a peripheral device that generates drive signals for multiplexed LCDs with up to four backplanes and 176 elements. It is compatible with microcontrollers and communicates via a 12C-bus (PCA8546A) or SPI-bus (PCA8546B). Communication overheads are minimized using a display RAM with auto-incremented addressing.
