Description
The MP5092 integrates dual load switches to provide load protection covering a 0.5V to 5.5V voltage range. Each channel can operate independently and provide a 7.5A load capability. With its low Roson in a tiny package, the MP5092 offers high efficiency and space savings for notebook, tablet, and other portable device applications.
The soft start function prevents inrush current during circuit startup. Additional features include programmable soft start time, output discharge functions, OCP, and thermal shutdown. The maximum load at the output is current-limited using a sense FET topology, with the current limit magnitude controlled by an external resistor.
The MP5092 is available in a space-saving 18-pin QFN-18 (2mm x 3mm) package.
