Description
The MK1704A is an upgraded version of the MK1704, designed for new designs. It offers reduced frequency amplitude peaks and supports frequencies up to 140 MHz. The MK1704A generates a low EMI output clock from a clock input, intended for dithering LCD interface clocks or other clocks for flat panel graphics controllers. It employs a proprietary mixture of analog and digital Phase Locked Loop (PLL) technology for frequency synthesis and a patented technique to spread the output frequency spectrum, reducing frequency amplitude peaks by several dB.
