Overview
Description
The MIC5841/5842 integrated circuits are 8-bit serial-input latched drivers fabricated using BICMOS technology. They feature:
8-bit CMOS shift register
CMOS control circuitry
8 CMOS data latches
8 bipolar current-sink Darlington output drivers
The MIC5842 offers premium performance with a minimum output breakdown voltage rating of 80V (50V sustaining). Both devices can operate with a split supply where the negative supply is down to -20V.
