Description
The MIC5238 is an ultra-low voltage output, 150 mA LDO regulator. It operates in single or dual supply mode, consuming only 23 μA of bias current. In dual supply mode, the efficiency is enhanced as the higher voltage supply powers the 23 μA bias current, while the output and base drive are supplied by the lower input voltage.
As a Cap regulator, the MIC5238 utilizes a 2.2 μF ceramic capacitor on the output, providing a compact solution. It also features a logic-level enable pin for zero off-current mode when disabled.
The MIC5238 is protected with current limit and thermal shutdown. It is available in a 5-lead SOT-23 package with an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
