MIC2178BWM Overview
A Tube package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. In order to save space, this voltage regulator is packaged in the 20-SOIC (0.295, 7.50mm Width) package. 1 outputs of voltage regulator are configured. Adjustable outputs are generated on the output pins of this adjusting voltage regulator. A voltage regulator 12v such as this one fits the Surface Mount mounting bracket. Keeping dc to dc voltage regulator's operating temperature at -40°C~125°C TJ is essential when operating. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 200kHz. Voltage regulators like this one can operate at least with 4.5V as the dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage. This voltage regulator 12v features maximum design flexibility thanks to its 2.5A output current. As far as the voltage input is concerned, DC DC switching regulator can accept up to 16.5V. As a member of the MIC2178 family of DC/DC regulators, this is a DC/DC regulator. The maximal output voltage of 16.5V allows adjusting voltage regulator for simple operation.
