Description
The MCP809/810 is a voltage supervisory device that keeps a microcontroller in reset until the system voltage reaches a stable operating level. It also protects against brown-out conditions when the supply voltage drops below a safe operating level. Both devices have push-pull outputs and are available with a choice of seven different trip voltages. The MCP809 has a low active RESET pin, while the MCP810 has a high active RESET pin.
