The MAX690 family of supervisory circuits simplifies power supply monitoring and battery control in microprocessor systems. They provide essential functions such as:

Battery backup switching for CMOS RAM and low-power logic
Watchdog timer with reset pulse
Voltage monitor for power fail warning or low battery detection
