Description
The MAX665 is an 8V CMOS switched-capacitor voltage converter that inverts or doubles an input supply voltage. It operates from a 1.5V to 8V input and produces a corresponding -1.5V to -8V output or doubles the input voltage to 9.35V at 100mA. The MAX665 uses only two low-cost capacitors to generate its output, eliminating the need for inductors and their associated cost, size, and EMI.
