Description
The MAX6604 is a high-precision temperature sensor designed for thermal monitoring in DDR memory modules. It is readable and programmable via a 2-wire SMBus/I2C-compatible interface. The device features three address inputs for setting the bus address, allowing up to eight devices on one bus. The internal thermal sensor continuously monitors temperature and updates data eight times per second. The master can read the temperature data at any time. The sensor's location on the memory module ensures accurate temperature measurement of module components.
