Overview
Description
The LTC1290 is a single-chip data acquisition system that includes a serial I/O successive approximation A/D converter. It utilizes LTCMOS switched capacitor technology to perform 12-bit unipolar or 11-bit plus sign bipolar A/D conversions. The 8-channel input multiplexer can be configured for single-ended or differential inputs. An on-chip sample-and-hold is provided for all single-ended input channels. The LTC1290 can be powered down with a serial word when idle, making it suitable for applications requiring low power consumption.
