Overview
Description
The LT1959 is a 4.5A, 500kHz step-down switching regulator that operates with input voltages as low as 4V and output voltages down to 1.21V. It uses all surface mount components and has a reduced inductor size of 1.8µH. The LT1959 features a saturating switch design with a shutdown current of 15µA and is easily synchronizable. It also has cycle-by-cycle current limiting and current mode control.
