It incorporates two step-down DC-DC converters two linear regulators, and a 400-kHz I2C interface to achieve a host controller access to the internal control registers of the device. It operates in PFM mode with reduced switching frequency and supplies current to ensure high efficiency at very light loads. Thus, it is well suited for applications where light loads are critically required.
