Description
The LM3526 is a dual-port USB power switch and over-current protection device compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 standards. It features a 1 ms fault flag delay to filter hot-plug events, smooth turn-on to eliminate in-rush induced voltage drop, and thermal shutdown protection. The device has a nominal short circuit output current to protect PC power supplies and a minimum continuous load current of 500 mA. It comes in a small SOIC-8 package, has a 2.7V to 5.5V input voltage range, and a maximum switch resistance of 140 mΩ. The LM3526 has a maximum standby current of 1 μA and a maximum operating current of 200 μA. It also has an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) feature.
