LM337IMP/NOPB Description
The LM137 and LM337-N are programmable 3-terminal negative voltage regulators with an output voltage range of -1.25 V to -37 V, and they can produce -1.5 A or greater currents. It simply needs one output capacitor for frequency compensation and two external resistors to set the output voltage. With regard to superior control and minimal thermal transients, the circuit design has been optimized. Additionally, the inbuilt current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation of the LM137 and LM337-N make them essentially blowout-proof against overloads. The LM117 and LM317 adjustable positive regulators are the perfect match for the LM137 and LM337-N. The LM137 is also available in military and space approved versions and has a larger operating temperature range than the LM337-N.
