Description
The LM2930 is a 3-terminal positive regulator that can source 150 mA of output current with an input-output differential of 0.6V or less. It efficiently uses low input voltages, such as those obtained from an automotive battery during cold crank conditions, allowing 5V circuitry to be powered with supply voltages as low as 5.6V. The LM2930 also features current limit and thermal overload protection.
