Description
The LD2982 is a 50 mA fixed output voltage regulator. Its ultra-low drop voltage and low quiescent current make it suitable for low-noise, low-power applications and battery-powered systems. In sleep mode, the quiescent current is less than 1 μA when the INHIBIT pin is pulled low. Shutdown logic control is available on pin 3 (TTL compatible). This allows a portion of the board to be put into standby when the device is used as a local regulator, reducing total power consumption. An external capacitor (CByp = 10 nF) connected between the bypass pin and GND reduces noise to 30 μVrms.
