Description
The KS8995E is a 5-port 10/100 integrated switch with physical layer transceivers (PHYs) and frame buffers. It operates in two modes:
5-port integrated switch
5-port switch with the fifth port decoupled from the physical port, providing access to the fifth MAC via MII (Media Independent Interface)
Features
Supports 10BaseT, 100BaseTX, and 100BaseFX media
Analog circuitry for efficient signal transmission and reception
Unmanaged design, configurable through I/O strapping or EEPROM programming
VLAN support
Traffic priority queuing
EEPROM programming for expanded control
MDI/MDI-X auto cross-over
