Description
The ICS525-01/02 are highly flexible devices that generate high-quality, high-accuracy, and high-frequency clock outputs from inexpensive crystal or clock inputs. They are designed to replace crystal oscillators in various electronic systems. Users can configure the devices to produce almost any output frequency from any input frequency by grounding or floating select pins. No microcontroller, software, or device programmer is required to set the frequency. Utilizing Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) techniques, the devices accept standard fundamental mode crystals to produce output clocks up to 250 MHz. They can also generate highly accurate output clocks from input clocks, keeping them frequency locked together.
