Description
The FAN6520B is a single synchronous buck PWM controller designed for DC-DC step-down converters. It drives N-channel MOSFETs and employs a single feedback loop for simple control design. The internal reference provides ±1.5% accuracy over line voltage and temperature variations. The fixed frequency oscillator operates at 300kHz, reducing design complexity. The high-bandwidth error amplifier and 8V/µs slew rate enable fast transient response. The PWM duty cycle can be adjusted from 0% to 100%. The FAN6520B also features internal soft-start and protection functions.
