Description
The APEX 20KC is a programmable logic device (PLD) manufactured using a 0.15-μm all-layer copper-metal fabrication process. It offers 25 to 35% faster design performance than APEX 20KE devices and is pin-compatible with them. The APEX 20KC features a high-performance, low-power copper interconnect and a MultiCore architecture that integrates look-up table (LUT) logic and embedded memory. The LUT logic is used for register-intensive functions, while the embedded system blocks (ESBs) are used to implement memory functions, including first-in first-out (FIFO) buffers, dual-port RAM, and content-addressable memory (CAM). The APEX 20KC has a high-density architecture, with up to 1 million typical gates, 38,400 logic elements (LEs), and 327,680 RAM bits.
