Description
The DRV8837C device is an integrated motor driver solution targeted at camera, consumer, toy, and other low-voltage, battery-powered motion control applications. It can drive a single DC motor or other loads such as solenoids. The output driver stage consists of N-channel power MOSFETs configured as an H-bridge to drive the motor windings. An internal charge pump is used to generate the required gate drive voltages. The DRV8837C device can deliver up to 1-A output current. The device operates from a motor supply voltage range of 0 V to 11 V, while the control logic operates from a 1.8-V to 5-V supply rail. The DRV8837C device has a standard pulse-width modulation (PWM) interface (IN1/IN2). Internal shutdown functions are provided for overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection.
