Description
The CY22150 is a onePLL generalpurpose flashprogrammable and I²C programmable clock generator. It features an integrated phaselocked loop (PLL) to generate six outputs up to 200 MHz. The CY22150 can generate custom frequencies from an external crystal or a driven source. It is performance guaranteed for applications that require an extended temperature range.
The CY22150 is nonvolatile and reprogrammable, allowing for easy customization, quick turnaround on design changes, and product performance enhancements. It can be programmed at the package level, and inhouse programming of samples and prototype quantities is available. Production quantities are available through Cypress's valueadded distribution partners or by using thirdparty programmers.
The CY22150 provides an industrystandard interface for volatile, systemlevel customization of unique frequencies and options. Serial programming and reprogramming allow for quick design changes and product enhancements, eliminate inventory of old design parts, and simplify manufacturing.
