Description
The CS8416 is a 192 kHz digital audio interface receiver that is compatible with EIAJ CP1201, IEC60958, AES3, and S/PDIF standards. It features an 8:2 S/PDIF input MUX, three generalpurpose outputs (GPOs), a flexible 3wire serial digital output port, and a SPI™ or I²C control port. The CS8416 also includes onchip channel status data buffer memories, autodetection of compressed audio input streams, and the ability to decode CD Q subcode.
