Overview

Description
The CDB8416 evaluation board is designed for easy evaluation of the CS8416 and CS8406 digital audio receiver and transmitter.
It allows for easy connection to an Audio Precision or other digital audio test system.
Input and output data can be set for either balanced using XLR connectors or unbalanced using coax or optical connectors.
Windows PC software provides a GUI for easy configuration in Software Mode.
The software communicates through the PC's parallel port to control the internal registers, allowing testing of all possible software modes of the CS8416 and CS8406.
