Description
The CDCE706 is a highperformance, programmable 3:6 PLLbased clock synthesizer/multiplier/divider. It offers userprogrammable PLL frequencies, a wide PLL divider ratio for 0ppm output clock error, and accepts crystal, singleended LVCMOS, or differential input signals. The device features two programmable control inputs for userdefined control signals, six LVCMOS outputs with frequencies up to 300 MHz, and a programmable output switching matrix with a 7bit postdivider for each output. The PLL loop filter components are integrated, resulting in low period jitter (typically 60 ps). Spreadspectrum clocking (SSC) is available for lowering system EMI, and programmable output slewrate control (SRC) is included for further EMI reduction. The CDCE706 operates from a 3.3V power supply and is available in a 20pin TSSOP package.
