The CD4541BC Programmable Timer is a versatile device that combines a 16-stage binary counter, an integrated oscillator, output control logic, and a power-on reset circuit. It offers a wide range of features, including:
Programmable division ratios (2, 2^10, 2^13, or 2^16)
Built-in low-power RC oscillator with high accuracy
Oscillator frequency range from DC to 100 kHz
External clock input option
Automatic reset on power-up
External master reset
Single transition timer or frequency divider operation
Output logic level flexibility

Built-in low-power RC oscillator with accuracy of ±2% over temperature range and ±10% supply and ±3% over processing (<10 kHz)

Oscillator can be bypassed if external clock is available
Automatic reset initializes all counters on power-up
External master reset independent of automatic reset
Operates as a frequency divider or single transition timer
QO select provides output logic level flexibility
Reset (auto or master) disables oscillator during resetting to provide no active power dissipation
Clock conditioning circuit permits operation with very slow clock rise and fall times
Wide supply voltage range: 3V to 15V
High noise immunity: 0.45 Voo (typ.)
