Description
The bq2010 Gas Gauge IC is designed to accurately measure the available charge in rechargeable batteries. It is intended for battery-pack or in-system installation and monitors a voltage drop across a sense resistor to determine charge and discharge activity. The IC compensates for current, temperature, and self-discharge to provide accurate measurements across a wide range of operating conditions. Battery capacity is automatically recalibrated during discharge cycles.
