Description
The BD357XFP/HFP series of regulators are designed for use in automotive body control systems. They feature a high withstand voltage of 50 V and are suitable for use with onboard vehicle microcontrollers. These regulators offer an output current of 500 mA while limiting the quiescent current to 30 µA (TYP). They can operate with low-ESR ceramic capacitors at the output for stable operation, and their output tolerance is within ±2% over a wide ambient temperature range (-40 to 125°C). The short circuit protection is folded-type to minimize heat generation during malfunction.
