AT91SAM-ICE Description
A JTAG emulator for Atmel® AT91 ARM® cores is called SAM-ICE. It can be connected to a computer running Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or above through USB. The standard 20-pin connector established by ARM is compatible with the built-in 20-pin JTAG connector found on SAM-ICETM.

AT91SAM-ICE Applications
A debugger's primary job is to execute the target program under controlled circumstances so that the programmer may follow its progress and keep an eye on any changes in the system resources that can point to broken code.
A JTAG emulator for Atmel® AT91 ARM® cores is called SAM-ICE. It can be connected to a computer running Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or above through USB. The standard 20-pin connector established by ARM is compatible with the built-in 20-pin JTAG connector found on SAM-ICETM.
