Description
The AL5809 is a constant current linear LED driver that provides a cost-effective two-pin solution. It features excellent temperature stability (20ppm/°C) and current accuracy (±5%) over a wide voltage and temperature range. The AL5809 comes in various fixed output current versions, eliminating the need for external current setting resistors. It supports both high-side and low-side driving of LED chains.
The AL5809 operates with a voltage range of 2.5V to 60V between its two terminals. Its floating ground and 60V voltage rating between input and output pins enable it to withstand high peak voltages in offline applications.
