Description
The AK5388A is a 24-bit, 216kHz sampling 4-channel A/D converter designed for high-end audio systems. It employs AKM's Enhanced Dual Bit architecture for high accuracy and cost-effectiveness. The AK5388A achieves a dynamic range of 120dB and a signal-to-noise ratio (S/(N D)) of 110dB. An optional mono mode extends the dynamic range to 123dB.
The AK5388A's digital filter utilizes a modified FIR architecture that minimizes group delay while maintaining excellent linear phase response. This makes it suitable for professional audio applications such as recording, sound reinforcement, effects processing, sound cards, and high-end A/V receivers.
