Description
The AD9878 is a mixed-signal front end for broadband applications, including cable set-top boxes, cable and wireless modems. It features a transmit path interpolation filter, quadrature digital upconverter, and transmit DAC. The receive path includes dual 12-bit ADCs and a 10-bit ADC. All required clocks are generated by a phase-locked loop (PLL) from a single crystal oscillator or clock input.
